One thing that I really liked about this device is the new Android UI, because when I take a look at the Android skin of the other smartphones then they are mostly inspired by the Samsung Touchwiz but this Gionee Amigo UI is somewhat new to the eyes. The performance of the device is good and we will be telling you about the benchmark scores of this device in the Hands-On video soon.
Though the processor is Mediatek True Octa Core working with 8 cores at the frequency of 1.7 GHz. The primary camera of the device is 13 MP (not sure whether you will get LED Flash with it or not). The camera is adjusted on an axis over the front panel which can be swung back and forth. This idea for combining the primary and the secondary camera is great. In this way you will have 8 MP as the secondary and primary camera both.
The size of the display is 4.7 Inches with the resolution of 720p (1280 x 720 pixels). The internal memory capacity of the device is 16 GB and the battery is of 2100 mAh which is decent for 4.7 Inches display and 720p resolution. Other common connectivity features include NFC, 3G, WiFi and others. Stay tuned, as we will be putting up the Quick Review of this gadget discussing the full detail about the device.
