The Intel Education 2 in 1 is stuffed with a quad-core Intel Atom Z3740D processor and is based on Windows Phone 8.1. There is 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB or 64 GB of eMMC storage and a 10 inch display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The 7,600 mAh battery under its hood is claimed by Intel to deliver 7.8 hours of backup when used as a tablet and over 11 hours when docked. As the device is designed to deliver an exceptional educational experience, it is ruggedized to withstand drops up to 70 cm and has the IP51 rating that makes it water and dust resistant. The stylus with a great grip makes it comfortable for small kids to handle it. Also, there are connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 3G, LTE and USB 3.0, micro SD card slot and micro HDMI port for enhanced connectivity that lets students stay in touch with each other and with the teacher community.
