The Xperia Z2 comes with a 5.2 inch Triluminous display with full HD 1080p resolution, enclosed in one piece Aluminum casing. The chipset employed is 2.3 GHz Quad core Snapdragon 801 backed by 3GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. MicroSD support is also present on the smartphone. The camera has same 20.7 MP Exymor Rs sensor that was present in Xperia Z1 (Max Snapdragon 800 can support) but this time it supports 4K recording. The front 2.2 MP shooter is also present for high definition video chat. For better imaging experience, Sony has also added a new camera app. You can also shoot videos at 120fps for slow motion effect. The battery powering this high end hardware carries a 3200 mAh rating. The phone follows the same Omni balance design as its predecessor Z series phones along with te IP58 certification, which makes it similar in looks and body design. Sony claims that real difference with this phone lies in the experience. Sony will bundle a pair of MDR NC31EM headphones with this device. The device seems pretty good and Sony has tried to eliminate the shortcomings of Z1 with this new flagship. The phone will be available for purchase globally in March 2014.
