The 10.1 inch 10 point multi touch LED display sports 1366 x 768 pixel resolution which is not that impressive considering the display size. The display won’t be as crisp and texts will be softer. Xolo Win will be powered by AMD A4-1200 1 GHz dual core processor with support from AMD Radeon HD 8180G Graphics. A 2GB DDR3 RAM is also present for smooth multitasking. The internal storage is 32 GB which is uncommon in mid range devices. Imaging hardware on a 10.1 inch tablet is hardly a priority and Xolo doesn’t seem to care much either. The rear camera has a 2 MP sensor and at the front you will see a 1 MP camera for basic video calling. Two 1.5 W speakers are also present to enhance your audio experience. The battery capacity is 3550 mAh and Xolo claims this will give you 7 hours of backup. The charging time is 3 hours. Connectivity features include WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. Xolo has experimented with wide range of chipset makers which includes Intel, Nvidia, MediaTek, Qualcomm and Broadcom. Highlight of this AMD powered tablet will be the Radeon graphics. The Xolo Win Tablet is expected to be priced around 20,000 INR. On association with AMD, Vishal Sehgal, co-founder and director, Lava International, said: “Providing superior product experience is at the core of XOLO’s proposition to its target customers, hence joining hands with a technology leader like AMD makes perfect sense. With AMD’s unique Accelerated Processing Unit (APU), featuring both a CPU and GPU on a single piece of silicon, we look forward to this strategic partnership to provide the best performance and graphics on mobile devices.”
